Why Ron
There’s a right way, a wrong way and an above-and-beyond way to do things. My entire career has been built on going the extra mile for my teams and clients.
Now, I guide entrepreneurs and their teams in creating strategies, crafting repeatable systems, and developing skills to grow and scale revenue. Unlike other business coaches and advisors, I have a decades long track record of success, specifically in the technology industry – I understand your journey along with the ups and downs.
One other thing – as a navigator, I fuse coaching and advising in a unique way to help tech companies make smarter, more effective decisions about what direction to go in and how to do it with active upskilling.
Experience and Expertise
My first startup was within a year of graduating from the University of Florida, creating and selling an innovative electronic differential controller for the solar industry. My two partners and I had a successful exit.
I then moved on to learn how to sell as a quota carrying sales professional. From there, it was onward and upward in roles such as VP of marketing and business development, executive VP of sales, CEO of a venture-backed wireless startup. Along the way I’ve raised over $100 million in venture capital, M&A, and through an IPOs.
Since 2008 I’ve turned my attention to mentoring, coaching and advising startups – seed stage and pre-revenue to growth stage companies.
With me as your navigator, you not only get my 33 years of experience in product development, product strategy, building out global channels and strategic partner programs, and business leadership – and also every resource I have at my fingertips.
Fun Facts
I’m proud to serve on the Advisory Board of the internationally recognized tech business incubator, Innovate, at the University of Florida. Also at the University of Florida, I’m on the faculty of the Engineering Innovation Institute where I teach the popular course, the Sales Engineering Seminar.
In my spare time, I play jazz and blues trombone and ride my bike as fast as I can.
